I woke up yesterday morning and it looked like this:

How much more can we take? It's so grey out that I never feel fully awake. I hate that. Now all they talk about on the news is 'Floodwatch'. They focus on this every year but it does seem like it's going to be serious especially for our comrades in North Dakota. Then, it will be all about the mosquitos. I guarantee it.
I currently have 198 action items in my inbox. It's never ending. I'm starting to be anxious all the time. I'd prefer just to work until 7 everynight to get my anxiety under control but I can't focus. It's so dark that I get so tired and I want to go to sleep at 6. Ridiculous.
Today I had to go downtown to get some permits filed and now I'm trying to write an article for a local free newspaper. I had proposed the idea to the paper and then they wanted me to write it. I walked right into that one. I would just pull out at this point but I don't want to ruin the 'relationship'. Gah. Fortunately, my internship provided me a lot of experience for writing about health issues to the general public. So I have the formula down now I just have to put it all together.
Positive thoughts for the day: - Mastercard is paid off thanks to Income Tax refund. Hooray! - Bellydancing phase two begins on Monday - Easter is coming and I'm going today (while I'm running errands for work) to pick up fondant, spring cookie cutters, etc. - New Kids on the Block concert is a week from today!!!!!!! - Bought Kitchmas pigment from Mac yesterday and am in love. - Parents bought Wii Fit - The Stills won at the Junos (only thing redeeming about that event this year)

God, I love The Stills so much! :)
xx
me too! I always forget their Canadian. I always assume anyone I listen to is from Britain because that seems the case nowadays.
They're coming through here next month. Tickets are only $20 but I'm not sure I can fit in in. May is completely insane for me! I might just shoehorn it in though. I'm feeling a bit desperate for a break.
I woke up yesterday morning and it looked like this
Your neighbourhood looks eerie with that sky stuck on top.
Bellydancing phase two begins on Monday
Okay, a) brilliant, and b) this sounds like such a spy-film codephrase for when they meet clandestinely by duckponds.
yes it does look eerie! that's the problem. It's all grey. The ground, the sky. If we had no snow it wouldn't be so bad but it just brings me down.
we are meeting by the duckponds clandestinely with veils. will keep you posted. ;-) | |
